Record Arrivals at Cyprus Airports During Holiday Season

Increased traffic is observed at Larnaca and Paphos airports in Cyprus during the holiday season. For example, the day after Christmas, Friday, December 26, Larnaca airport had 65 arrivals scheduled from international destinations and 38 departures, while Paphos airport had 14 arrivals and 13 departures.

Passenger traffic at both airports was up throughout 2025. According to data from Hermes Airports, between January and November 2025, 9,365,329 passengers passed through Larnaca airport and 3,640,954 through Paphos airport, exceeding the traffic for the entire year of 2024 (8,661,354 for Larnaca and 3,633,990 for Paphos).

Due to the increased traffic, parking at Larnaca airport is operating with limited availability. The company encourages the public to pre-book parking spaces online.
