Easter 2026: Holiday shopping hours

The holiday shopping hours for Easter will begin on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Stores will operate on a continuous schedule, typically from 09:00 to 21:00.

The Athens and Thessaloniki Trade Associations have proposed hours of 09:00 – 21:00 from Holy Monday to Holy Thursday. On Good Friday (April 10), it is proposed to operate from 13:00 – 19:00, and on Holy Saturday (April 11) from 09:00 – 15:00.

On Easter Sunday (April 12) and Monday, April 13, stores will remain closed.

Also, stores will be open on Palm Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 11:00 to 18:00.
