The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, announced new support programs for small and medium-sized enterprises, new graduates, and owners of old residences. The programs are expected to start within the next quarter.

The "Produce Here" program, expected to open in February, provides a 50% subsidy, up to 200,000 euros, for small and very small businesses in the production sector.

A new program for new graduates will start in March, offering up to 36,000 euros for starting a business. Specifically, 13,000 euros for a sole proprietorship, 21,000 euros for a company of two graduates, and an additional 15,000 euros for hiring an employee.

The "Renovate" program, which concerns houses built before 1990, is expected to open in May, with a subsidy of up to 90% for non-energy interventions, such as kitchen and bathroom renovation.

Mr. Papathanasis also referred to the "My Home 2" program, noting that 12,000 families have already secured housing.
