Cyprus Salaries 2024: How much do employees earn?

The average gross monthly earnings in Cyprus for 2024 amounted to €2,483, marking a 5.1% increase compared to 2023 (€2,363), according to the **Statistical Service**.

The median gross monthly earnings reached €1,881. The largest percentage of employees (14.2%) earn between €1,000-€1,249, followed by the groups €1,250-€1,499 (11.6%) and €1,500-€1,749 (11.2%).

Earnings by sector range from €941 in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing to €4,710 in Financial and Insurance Activities.

Decreases were observed in the Real Estate Management (-2%) and Mining and Quarrying (-0.8%) sectors, while the largest increase was recorded in Information and Communication (8.1%).

The average monthly earnings of Cypriots were €2,506 and of non-Cypriots €2,434, with annual changes of 5.4% and 4.3% respectively. Non-Cypriot employees account for larger percentages in the lowest and highest income brackets.
