Metlen: Production of the First Five Kilograms of Gallium

Metlen has announced the production of the first five kilograms of gallium at its facilities. This was announced by Evangelos Mytilineos via a post on LinkedIn.

According to the post, the factory is expected to scale up its production activity in 2026, with the first 5–10 metric tons estimated to be available in 2027.

Evangelos Mytilineos stated that his team has produced the first 5 kilograms of gallium, emphasizing that the company's patented technology has been successfully tested in industrial production conditions. The value of gallium is currently estimated at $1,750 per kilogram.
