Metlen: GIGA Accelerates Modernization of European Electrical Grids

Metlen is participating in the founding of the Green Industrial Grids Association (GIGA), a new European initiative aimed at accelerating the modernization of electrical grids in Europe.

GIGA connects major energy consumers and network technology providers. Along with Metlen, founding members include leading international groups such as Amazon, Google, Hitachi Energy, Meta, Microsoft, and Siemens Energy.

GIGA's goal is to support the transformation of the European electricity system by providing practical information on network access, system design, and modernization.

The Association aims to fill a significant gap in European energy discussions by bringing together companies with common electricity needs.
