Transporters A' Suspend Strike Measures at Ports

The heads of Transporters Associations A' have decided to suspend strike measures at the ports, following consultation with their members and a meeting with the President of the Republic.

According to the Government Spokesman, Konstantinos Letymbiotis, the Council of Ministers will approve the amending regulations of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Laws of 1972 to 2025, on November 11, 2025.

In addition, the amending regulations will be submitted to the House of Representatives under the urgent procedure, for approval on November 13, 2025.

The general secretary of POBEK, Kyriakos Moustakas, stated that the transporters will return to their duties at three in the afternoon. The strike had resulted in hundreds of containers remaining trapped.
