Cyprus holds the top position in the number of flights departing from Israeli airports, according to data from the Israel Airports Authority (IAA). It shares fourth place with Italy in terms of passenger numbers, with 1.2 million.

Greece remains first in passenger traffic with 2.2 million passengers, followed by the USA (1.6 million) and the United Arab Emirates (1.5 million). Cyprus handles up to 186 flights per week from Israeli airports (Tel Aviv and Haifa).

Israel is the second-largest tourist market for Cyprus after the United Kingdom and ranks first in daily per capita spending by visitors. Arrivals from Israel have increased by 42.6%.

Israeli media estimate an increase in passengers from Israel to 22 million in 2026, potentially exceeding pre-war records.
