Tourism revenue in Cyprus increased by 20.2% in May 2025 compared to the previous year, reaching €373.3 million, according to the Statistical Service.

Israeli tourists had the highest daily expenditure at €153.11, followed by Swiss tourists at €144.50.

British tourists constitute the largest tourist market (37.4% of the total), with a daily expenditure of €97.77 and a total expenditure of €948.39 per capita.

Tourists from Greece had the lowest expenditure, at €60.19 per day.

The average length of stay is 8.1 days, with British tourists staying the longest (9.7 days) and Israeli tourists the shortest (4.1 days).

Tourism revenue for the period January – May 2025 amounted to €955.8 million, an increase of 27.2% compared to 2024.
