Fuel Prices: Decrease, Fluctuations Unpredictable

Fuel prices are decreasing, according to statements by the Director of the Consumer Protection Service, Konstantinos Karagiorgis, to CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY. Mr. Karagiorgis stated that after an increase observed around June 14, peaking on 19/6, refinery prices are showing a downward trend.

"From 19/6 until today, there has been a downward trend in these prices, i.e., refinery prices. Prices are gradually falling," he noted. A gradual decrease in prices is expected with the new shipments.

Mr. Karagiorgis emphasized the inability to predict fuel prices due to geopolitical changes and events. "We can never predict what will happen to fuel prices because we see that various geopolitical changes or events can create some trends."
