Income Tax: Submission Deadline Extended to September 30

As of August 29, 162 thousand taxpayers (51%) had definitively submitted their Income Tax Return for Individuals without accounts for the 2024 tax year, according to Tax Commissioner Sotiris Markidis. In total, approximately 182 thousand returns (56%) had been processed.

For comparison, 317,400 returns were submitted by the deadline in 2023.

The deadline for submitting the return and paying the tax has been extended until September 30, 2025, according to a Decree of the Council of Ministers.

Salaried employees, pensioners, and self-employed individuals with a gross total income exceeding €19,500 for 2024 are required to submit a return. The return is submitted via TaxisNet.
