ETEK Submits Five Requests to Paphos EOA Regarding Licensing System

A delegation from ETEK, led by President Konstantinos Konstantis, met with the President of the Paphos EOA, Charalambos Pittokopitis, to discuss difficulties in the licensing system.
ETEK raised five critical issues, emphasizing delays and difficulties affecting construction activity. These include understaffing, the malfunction of the IPPODAMOS system, and a large number of pending applications.
The requests include:
- Improved communication by establishing common telephone service hours (11:00–13:00) and a day for appointments (Wednesday).
- Rational management of applications with a uniform checklist.
- Creation of an electronic archive and access to permits.
- Systematic consultation with relevant state departments.
- On-site inspections of projects under construction.
Mr. Konstantis stressed the need for cooperation for the success of the reform.
