Restaurant Prices: Wide Variations in Cyprus, Survey Reveals

A survey by the Cyprus Consumers Association reveals significant price variations in restaurants across Cyprus. The survey, based on 200 visits, recorded water prices from €1 to €4.50 and soft drinks from €1.50 to €5.00.

Beer prices reach up to €6.70, while a salad ranges from €3.50 to €15.00. Increases are also noted in meat dishes, with chicken costing from €13 to €25 and pork from €7.50 to €25.80.

The survey also identified quality issues, with some establishments using non-authentic products. The Association recommends closer cooperation to improve training and price transparency.
