Cautious Sentiment in European Markets Amid Tariffs and Inflation Concerns

European markets started the week with a cautious sentiment, as the expiration of the trade truce between the US and China and the talks on Ukraine create nervousness.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 fell slightly by 0.06% to 546 points, while the German DAX fell by 0.34% to 24,081 points and the French CAC 40 lost 0.57% to 7,698 points. In contrast, the FTSE 100 in London rose by 0.37% to 9,129 points.
Trade uncertainty, combined with US inflation data, is influencing the decisions of the Federal Reserve. Oil prices showed a slight decline, while gold came under pressure.
The price of Brent fell 0.18% to $66.47 a barrel, while the price of US WTI lost 0.09% to $63.83 a barrel.
