Data Centers: Can Greece Become a Data Hub?

Data center utilization in Europe is expected to increase significantly in 2025, according to a CBRE study. Colocation data center usage is projected to rise by 22%, reaching 855MW.
Almost half of this increase is expected in London and Frankfurt. Despite difficulties in securing energy and land, demand remains high, leading to the construction of large facilities.
Greece, due to its geographical location, is considered a "data bridge" between Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The data center market in Greece is expected to reach €2 billion by 2030.
