Fuel Prices Increase: New Rise Expected in Cyprus

The Cyprus Consumers Association anticipates a further increase in fuel prices this week. According to the Association's President, Marios Drousiotis, speaking on Alpha Enimerosi, the fluctuations are mainly due to psychological factors.
In June, there was an increase of 3.5 cents in gasoline, 6 cents in diesel, and 1 cent in heating oil. Mr. Drousiotis mentioned that the price of heating oil in Cyprus is higher compared to Europe. Currently, the international oil price is recording a slight increase of 0.28%, reaching $66.99 per barrel.
