Farmer Protests Suspended After Meeting with Panagiotou

The announced mobilizations of agricultural organizations are suspended after an emergency meeting with the competent departments, at the initiative of the Minister of Agriculture, Maria Panagiotou.

In a joint statement by the organizations PEK, EKA, Panagrotiko, Neaagrotiki Kinisi, Evroagrotikos and Pancyprian Organization of Cereal Producers (POS) it is stated that, after the meeting on Sunday 15/2/2026, it was decided to give additional time for the settlement of the problems by the competent state services and to temporarily postpone the mobilizations that had been announced for Monday 16/2/2026.

The organizations thanked Minister of Agriculture Maria Panagiotou for her initiative.
