AKTOR and ONEX Alliance to Bid for Elefsina Port

AKTOR Group and ONEX Shipyards & Technologies have announced a strategic alliance to bid for the concession of the Port of Elefsina. They will jointly participate in the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations S.A. (HCAP) tender.

According to the agreement, AKTOR Group will undertake the construction aspect of the infrastructure, while ONEX Group will manage and operate the port facilities.

The collaboration aims to create an international shipping hub in Greece, strengthening the country's position in international freight flows. ONEX already has a presence in port management through its subsidiary Onex Elefsis Port and participates in the BoD of E.LIME (Hellenic Ports Association).
