ADMIE Denies Report on Claims from CERA

ADMIE (Independent Power Transmission Operator) of Greece denies a report in «Phileleftheros» regarding the amount of compensation from CERA (Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority) for the Greece-Cyprus electricity interconnection project.
In a statement, ADMIE states that it is claiming the first installment of 25 million euros for this year. It denies reports of an immediate claim of 251 million euros, an amount that is part of the total project of 1.9 billion euros.
ADMIE clarifies that the amount of 251 million euros will be recovered over 35 years. The request to revise CERA's decision was submitted on July 31, as CERA recognized only 82 million euros against the 251 million euros of confirmed investment expenditures.
