Valentina Sofokleous: International Theater Award in Istanbul

Valentina Sofokleous, Artistic Director of TheatroROH, was honored with the International Anatolia Theater Award at a ceremony in Istanbul.

The award ceremony took place at the historic Mask Kara Theatre in Fatih, organized by Tiyatro Gazetesi.

Artists from Europe and Asia attended the ceremony. Sofokleous received the Honorary Award for her contribution to the development of a theater that bridges cultures.

In her speech, Valentina Sofokleous stated: "This award does not belong only to me. It belongs to every artist who believes in collaboration, peace, and who considers art universal."

Sofokleous was also the honored guest at the #SITFΥ festival in Egypt in November 2026.
