Chef Dimitris Skarmoutsos presented a recipe for giant beans spetzofai on MEGA's Buongiorno show, alongside Fai Skorda. The recipe involves simple steps and everyday ingredients for a delicious result.

Ingredients: 300g giant beans, 1 kg beef sausage, 5 Florina peppers, 3 green horn peppers, 3 green peppers, 2 white onions, 3 cloves of garlic, 600g crushed tomatoes, 70 ml red wine, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp bukovo (chili flakes), 1 tbsp sweet paprika, 1 tbsp breadcrumbs, 3 sprigs of oregano, salt, pepper.

Instructions: Boil the giant beans for 40 minutes. Then, in a pan, sauté the sausage, onion, garlic, peppers, and the remaining ingredients for the sauce. Pour the sauce over the giant beans and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about an hour.

Secret: For best results, use this year's giant beans or soak them for two hours before cooking.
