Aristotelis Valaoritis Breaks Guinness World Record: Balances 511 Glasses on Head

Cypriot Aristotelis Valaoritis has earned a place in the Guinness World Records by successfully balancing 511 wine glasses on his head.

According to an announcement by Guinness World Records, the 64-year-old achieved the record last month. Valaoritis has been a professional glass dancer since 1995, entertaining audiences in restaurants and at various events.

In 2023, he had broken the record with 319 glasses. To surpass himself, he decided to balance over 500 glasses, weighing a total of 63,023 grams.

The process involved using a forklift to place the glasses, which were arranged in a stable block, on his head. Valaoritis managed to maintain balance for 15 seconds.

"I accepted this record challenge to show that I still have the ability and passion for what I do," Valaoritis said.
