Cultural Agenda: Events on August 9th

A variety of cultural events are taking place across Cyprus on August 9th.

Visual Arts: At Kolossi Castle, the group contemporary art exhibition “The Message of the Chrysalids” is presented, curated by Stella Christofi. Opening: 5.30p.m.-7.30p.m. Until 19/8.

Theater: In Gialia, Piccolo Theatre organizes the unique “3rd Two-Day Arts Festival for Children in Nature Piccolino” (August 9-10). In Livadia, the theatrical comedy “What's wrong, doctor?” will be presented at 8.30p.m.

Animation: In Salamiou, the 24th edition of the International Animation Festival of Cyprus “Views of the World” continues (August 8-10).

Music: In Timi, Paphos, the One Love Festival Cyprus 2025 takes place on August 9 & 10.

Screenings: In Nicosia, at the Summer Konstantia cinema, the film “Divine Cheese” will be screened at 9p.m.

Exhibitions: Various exhibitions are hosted in museums and galleries in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos.

Cinema: New movies: Materialists, Freakier Friday, Weapons, Red Sonja. Showing at RIO (Nicosia Mall and Limassol).
