Cultural Agenda: Events on August 5th

A series of cultural events are taking place across Cyprus on August 5th.
Theater: In Pelendri, at the Cultural Center, at 8.45 p.m., the Εκτός Έδρας Σκηνή of THOC presents Michalis Pasiardis' play 'Το Γατάνιν' directed by Alexia Papalazarou. The cast includes Andreas Daniel, Charis Kkolos, Semeli Kyriazi, Andreas Lontou, Vasilis Michael, Konstantina Xenophontos, Kynthia Pavlidou, and Myrsini Christodoulou. Musician on stage: Giorgos Kalogirou.
Screenings: In Limassol, at Ceronia Hall – Lanitis Carob Mill, as part of the Limassol International Documentary Festival, the film 'Always' by Deming Chen will be screened at 6.30 p.m., and the film 'How to Build a Library' by Maia Lekow and Christopher King at 8.30 p.m. The screening will be followed by a discussion on 'Decolonizing Narratives: Embracing the unseen stories of Limassol through culture'.
Exhibitions: Various exhibitions are hosted in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos. In Nicosia, at the Municipal Museum of Engraving Champi, the exhibition 'Coexistence' of works by Vasso Katraki and Dimitris Alithinos is presented. At the Leventis Gallery, the exhibition 'Look at Me! Portraits in Greece by Robert A. McCabe'.
Cinema: New movies in cinemas: So Close, So Far, The Naked Gun, Together, The Lost Tiger, Jungle Beat 2: The Past.
