Cultural Agenda: Events on August 29th

A variety of cultural events are taking place today, August 29th, in various cities across Cyprus.
Music: In Amiantos, the TratSik String Quartet presents "Contemporary Cypriot Chamber Music" at the Cultural Center at 7:30 PM. Meanwhile, in Prastio Kellakiou, the event "Red thread tied, tangled in the distaff…!" will take place at the Former Elementary School at 8 PM, featuring folk tales from Cyprus, Lesvos, and Crete. In Paphos, the Estrella Sonora musical ensemble presents a tribute to the great ladies of Greek song at Technopolis 20 at 8 PM.
Visual Arts: In Larnaca, the Kypriaki Gonia gallery hosts a painting exhibition by Eris Papadopoulou. The opening will be held by the Mayor of Larnaca, Andreas Vyras, at 8 PM.
Screenings: In Larnaca, the film "Brother's in Arms" (En Fanfare) is screened at the Municipal Garden as part of the 1st Larnaca Film Festival at 8:30 PM. In Nicosia, at the Summer Konstantia cinema, the film "The Swimming Pool" directed by Jacques Deray will be screened at 9 PM.
Theater: In Dali, the Tabula Rasa Theater Group presents Henrik Ibsen's "Nora" at the Idaliou Amphitheater at 8:30 PM.
Exhibitions: Various exhibitions are hosted in museums and galleries throughout Cyprus, including exhibitions in Nicosia, Limassol, Platres, Larnaca and Paphos.
