Cultural Agenda: Events August 8-10

A variety of cultural events are taking place in Cyprus this weekend, August 8-10.
ANIMATION: The Cyprus International Animation Festival Views of the World, in Salamiou, presents more than 50 films, tributes, workshops and concerts. Artistic director Giorgos Tsaggaris selected 33 films from 18 countries. More information: animafest.com.cy
MUSIC: The One Love Festival Cyprus 2025 returns to Timi, Paphos, at the Base Venue, featuring reggae, dub and sound system culture. Artists from Cyprus, Greece, the United Kingdom and elsewhere will participate. Tickets: onelovefestivalcy.com
SCREENINGS: The Limassol International Documentary Festival concludes today, August 8, at Ceronia Hall – Lanitis Carob Mill, with the films Welded Together, Enigma, Forensic Architecture. In Nicosia, at the Summer Konstantia, the film "Yparcho" directed by Giorgos Tsemberopoulos is screened, a tribute to Stelios Kazantzidis.
EXHIBITIONS: Various exhibitions are hosted throughout Cyprus, including: Hambis Municipal Museum of Engraving (Nicosia), Leventis Gallery (Nicosia), Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, 125 Space (Limassol), Minerva Hotel (Platres), Municipal Gallery (Larnaca), Ukrainian Cultural Center Obiimy (Larnaca), Almyra Hotel (Paphos).
CINEMA: New movies in theaters: Materialists, Freakier Friday, Weapons, Red Sonja. RIO (Nicosia Mall and Limassol).
