Hungarian Director Béla Tarr Dies at 70

Iconic Hungarian director Béla Tarr has died at the age of 70, the European Film Academy announced. Tarr passed away after a long illness.
Born in Hungary in 1955, Béla Tarr was known for his personal cinematic style, long takes, and black and white photography.
His best-known films include 'Damnation', 'Sátántangó', 'Werckmeister Harmonies', and 'The Turin Horse'. His last film, 'The Turin Horse', was honored at the Berlin Film Festival.
