"Margarita forever": Performances at THOC and in schools
The production of Valitsa Theatre, "Margarita forever", based on the short story by Dimitris Hatzis, will be presented at the THOC Theatre, New Stage "Nikos Charalambous", on November 8 and 9, 2025.
The adaptation and direction are by Nikoletta Verykiou and Elena Pavlidou. The play, which will also be performed in secondary schools, is set in a provincial town in Greece during the German occupation.
The story focuses on young Margarita Perdikari, who seeks the strength to choose her own path of resistance. The performance, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, comes to life on stage by the Cyprus Theatre Organisation.
