Karyofyllia Karabeti: Returns as "Medea" After 29 Years

Karyofyllia Karabeti will reprise her role as Euripides' "Medea," 29 years after the legendary National Theatre production in 1997. This time, the production will be directed by Nikita Milivojevic and will be performed on a major tour.

The role of Jason will once again be played by Lazaros Georgakopoulos. Aris Lembesopoulos will play Creon, and Reni Pittaki will play the Nurse. Tasos Sotirakis is also participating in the performance.

The music is by Dimitris Kamarotos. The premiere is expected in early July.
