Gerontidakis, Aivazis, Thraskia & Melissanidis recite poems for 'Apostoli' campaign

The NGO 'Apostoli' of the Archdiocese of Athens celebrates World Poetry Day with a campaign dedicated to the values of its social work.

To mark World Poetry Day, the NGO 'Apostoli' presents a cultural initiative, linking Greek poetry with its humanitarian action.

Giorgos Gerontidakis, Giannis Aivazis, Rania Thraskia and Ioannis Melissanidis recite poems related to the values of 'Apostoli', such as love, faith and solidarity. Giannis Aivazis is the director of the campaign.

Giorgos Gerontidakis interpreted an excerpt from 'If you want to be called a human' by Tasos Livaditis, Giannis Aivazis the poem 'Thermopylae' by C.P. Cavafy, Rania Thraskia recited an excerpt from 'The house near the sea' by George Seferis and Ioannis Melissanidis 'One minute of silence' by Dinos Christianopoulos.
