Gerasimos Gennatas Stars in Molière's 'The Misanthrope' in Athens

Gerasimos Gennatas stars in Molière's 'The Misanthrope,' a production by the Thessalian Theatre coming to the Philipp Theatre in Kypseli.
The play, in a new Greek verse adaptation by Ioli Andreadi and Aris Asproulis, presents the story of Alceste, who opposes the hypocrisy of society.
The cast also includes actors Stefania Karagianni, Stathis Kokkoris, Asteris Krikonis, Marsela Lena, and Nadia Margariti.
Performances begin on March 12th and will be held every Thursday at 8:00 PM.
Molière's work, a great comedy, satirizes the hypocrisy of the French aristocracy and the flaws of human nature.
