Aristotle University: Cyprus Studies Chair Established

The first Cyprus Studies Chair in a Greek university is being established at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). The agreement was signed between the Minister of Education, Athina Michaelidou, and the Rector of AUTH, Kyriakos Anastasiadis.

The Chair will offer interdepartmental courses, such as "History of Cyprus" and "The Cyprus Issue," available to all AUTH students. It will also serve as a hub for workshops, conferences, and exhibitions.

The Chair aims to strengthen scientific research on Cyprus, raise awareness of the consequences of the Turkish invasion, and promote cultural exchanges.
