16 Theater Productions Approved for THYMELI Scheme 2026

The Deputy Ministry of Culture announced that 16 professional theater productions will be funded under the THYMELI Scheme for the first semester of 2026.

Out of 27 applications submitted by 18 theater organizations, one was invalid. The Deputy Ministry expressed satisfaction with the improved quality of applications and the positive impact of co-productions.

The final score resulted from the evaluation of applications by a five-member committee, consisting of Margarita Alexandrou, Nikos Theofanous, Marios Konstantinou, Antonis Tsakmakis, and Georgia Hoplarou.

Organizations receiving funding must inform the Deputy Ministry by January 16, 2026, regarding the acceptance of the grant. The final grant table will be published after the acceptance of the grants.

Among the productions that applied are "Bloody Crowns", "The Mountain", and "The Man Who Broke the Code".
