15,000 Spectators Applaud 'Andromache' at Epidaurus

More than 15,000 spectators attended the performance of Euripides' 'Andromache,' directed by Maria Protopappa, at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus on August 8 and 9. The performance received a warm reception from the audience.
Based on the translation by G. V. Tsokopoulos, the performance presents a work that raises questions about terror, destruction, and individual choices.
The cast includes Argyris Xafis (Andromache), Tasos Lekkas (Hermione), Giannis Dalianis (Menelaus), and Dimitris Piatas (Peleus). Stella Gkika appears as Thetis.
The performance continues its tour to various theaters throughout Greece, including the Lavrio Technological Park on August 25 and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens on September 25.
