The alleged victim of a new complaint against the Mayor of Paphos, Phaedon Phaedonos, has reportedly given a lengthy statement to the Police. The case arose after businessman Theodoros Aristodimou testified, accusing Phaedon Phaedonos of committing a serious criminal offense.

Mr. Aristodimou confirmed that he testified to the Police regarding the complaints against Phaedon Phaedonos. He referred to a previous complaint he made 10 years ago, stating that he had made it via television on RIK, without taking further legal action. At that time, he had challenged the Mayor to take him to court.

Mr. Aristodimou stated that he has not been in contact with the alleged victim of the new complaint, which concerns events from 2016. He expressed his readiness to report the events to any Authority.

Meanwhile, the Police are also conducting an ex officio investigation against the Mayor of Paphos for the alleged assault of his wife.
