46-Year-Old Detained for Robbery and Stabbing in Paphos

The Paphos District Court issued an eight-day detention order against a 46-year-old man from Georgia in connection with a robbery, stabbing, and the injury of a 24-year-old at a supermarket.

According to the Police, the 46-year-old allegedly injured the 24-year-old employee with a knife when the latter tried to stop him for stealing alcoholic beverages. During the arrest, a folding knife, supermarket products, and a substance resembling methamphetamine were found in his possession.

The 24-year-old was taken to Paphos General Hospital with lacerations to his right leg and was discharged.
