Chania: Three Arrests for Attempted Murder and Drugs

Three foreign nationals were arrested in Chania, accused of attempted murder and violations of drug laws. The arrest was made on Tuesday by police officers of the Narcotics Division of the Chania Crimes Prosecution and Investigation Sub-Directorate.

According to the police, on Tuesday morning, following an incident between three foreign nationals during which one foreign national was injured, police conducted searches of homes and surrounding areas in the Municipality of Chania. During the searches, 594.4 grams of cannabis, 2 cannabis plants 1.5 meters high, 2,950 euros from criminal activity, 2 mobile phones, and a knife were confiscated.

The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Narcotics Division of the Chania Crimes Prosecution and Investigation Sub-Directorate.
