Accident on Limassol-Nicosia Highway: Truck Crashes into Police Car

An accident occurred around 5:30 AM on the Limassol-Nicosia highway, near GSP Stadium, when a truck collided with a police patrol car.

The police car was parked in the safety lane for traffic monitoring. The truck driver and two police officers were injured in the collision.

The injured were taken to Nicosia General Hospital. Their health condition is not life-threatening.

The truck driver underwent alcohol and drug testing, with negative results. The causes of the accident are under investigation.
