Pagrati Traffic Accident: Shocking Eyewitness Account

The local community in Pagrati is in shock after a fatal traffic accident claimed the life of a 75-year-old woman. An eyewitness described the dramatic moments after the accident to in.gr.

"I heard a bomb falling," the witness said, describing the sound of the collision. According to her, the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident tried to flee the scene. "We didn't know there was a victim, that's the most tragic thing," she added, emphasizing that the residents of the area realized that the woman was under the car.

The witness also referred to the daughter of the 75-year-old, who is disabled. "She was shouting: 'My mom, my mom! Where is my mom?'"

Criminal prosecution for manslaughter by negligence has been filed against the 84-year-old driver. He was released by order of the prosecutor.

The 32-year-old daughter of the victim is being hosted at Aeginiteio Hospital.
