School Bus Accident in Cyprus: 13 Injured

A school bus accident occurred in the Nicosia province of Cyprus, resulting in injuries to 13 people.

According to initial reports, the school bus collided with a private vehicle on the Agiou Epifaniou to Palechori road. The collision injured 10 students, the bus driver, and the two occupants of the private vehicle.

The injured were transported to Nicosia General Hospital. The Ministers of Health and Education rushed to the hospital. The Press Officer of the State Health Services Organisation, Charalambos Charilaou, assured that the necessary medical care is being provided.

The two lanes of the Agiou Epifaniou to Palechori road, which had been closed after the accident, have been reopened to traffic. The Traffic Police are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
