School Bus Accident: 10 Students Hospitalized

Ten students from the Malountas Regional Gymnasium and three adults were taken to Nicosia General Hospital following an accident involving a school bus and a private vehicle in the Nicosia district.

Minister of Education, Athena Michaelidou, visited the hospital and stated that the children's lives are not at risk, but test results are pending. All children were taken to the hospital as a precaution. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

The Ministry of Education emphasizes that the school bus was new and met all specifications.
