Three-Day Detention for 41-Year-Old Over Larnaca Riots

A 41-year-old man has been placed under three-day detention following his arrest by the Police in connection with the riots in Kalo Chorio, Larnaca.

The man was brought before the Larnaca District Court, which issued a detention order for three days.

His arrest took place on Monday afternoon, under a court warrant, for offenses committed in Kalo Chorio, Larnaca, on the evening of Saturday, July 19, including rioting, affray, assault, and causing actual bodily harm.

Additionally, the Police announced that two other individuals, aged 17 and 23, were questioned and released to be summoned later, while their claims are being investigated.
