Tragedy in Heraklion: Elderly Woman Dies After Falling Down Stairs

A 76-year-old woman died in Agios Ioannis, Heraklion, Crete, after falling down the stairs of her home.

According to cretapost.gr, the woman was climbing the external stairs from the basement to the ground floor when, for unknown reasons, she lost her balance and fell.

She was immediately transported by ambulance to the Venizelio Hospital, where her death was confirmed.
