Tragedy in Aradippou: 52-year-old Nikos Dies in Car Crash

Grief has spread across Cyprus following the death of 52-year-old Nikos Nikolaou in a car accident. The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon on Ellados Avenue in Aradippou.

According to police, a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old retiree veered off course and collided head-on with Nikolaou's vehicle. Nikos Nikolaou, a resident of Dromolaxia, was trapped in the wreckage and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The 68-year-old driver was injured and is hospitalized, and an arrest warrant has been issued against him. A 34-year-old co-driver was discharged. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

Citizens have expressed concerns about the dangerousness of this particular section of Ellados Avenue, where the fatal accident occurred.
