Tragedy in Nicosia: 20-Year-Old Dies in Car Accident

A fatal traffic collision occurred early this morning in Nicosia, claiming the life of Kyriakos Antoniou, 20 years old, from Agios Dometios.

The collision happened around 1:20 a.m. when the car driven by Antoniou on Larnakos Avenue in Aglantzia collided with a car driven by a 24-year-old. A 23-year-old was also in the second vehicle.

The 20-year-old's vehicle collided with a road lighting pole and came to a stop. Kyriakos Antoniou was taken to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The two occupants of the second vehicle received first aid and were discharged. The causes of the fatal collision are being investigated by the Nicosia Traffic Police.
