Tragedy in Larnaca: 19-year-old Christos Dies After Accident

A 19-year-old, Christos Christaki, has died days after being seriously injured in Larnaca. The young man was hit by a friend's vehicle in a parking area in the Mackenzie area.

According to the Police, the incident occurred last Monday night when Christos, under circumstances being investigated, fell from the vehicle. It appears that a "death game" had preceded the incident between the victim and the driver, in the presence of about ten friends.

Christos was initially taken to Larnaca General Hospital and then to Nicosia General Hospital, where he passed away. The driver of the vehicle was arrested but released. Police investigations are ongoing.
