Tragedy: 19-year-old dies after Larnaca traffic accident

Mourning after the tragedy. The 19-year-old involved in a traffic accident in the Mackenzie area of Larnaca has lost his battle for life. Christos Christaki from Aradippou, was being treated in critical condition after being injured by a friend's vehicle in an open parking area.

The accident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, August 18. According to reports, a 19-year-old was driving his car in a parking lot in the Mackenzie area and, under investigation, hit his 19-year-old friend who was walking near the car.

The unfortunate 19-year-old, who suffered serious head injuries, was initially taken to Larnaca General Hospital and then, due to the severity of his condition, was intubated and transferred to Nicosia General Hospital. Unfortunately, he passed away while being treated in a private hospital in Nicosia.
