Tragedy on Daleela: Passenger Collapses and Dies of Cardiac Arrest

A tragedy unfolded on the Daleela ship, en route from Piraeus to Lemesos, when a 56-year-old Greek man, a permanent resident of Cyprus, suffered cardiac arrest and collapsed.
The incident occurred around 6:30 AM while the ship was at sea, approximately 20 nautical miles from the port of Lemesos. The man, who was returning to Cyprus from Piraeus, felt severe chest pain before collapsing in a public area of the ship.
Reportedly, there are allegations of medical equipment shortages, such as a defibrillator and blood pressure monitor, as well as inaction by the ship's doctor. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
