Fatal Car Accident in Larnaca: 80-Year-Old Dead

A tragic car accident occurred today on the highway near Larnaca, claiming the life of an 80-year-old Greek Cypriot.

According to the Police, the accident happened when the vehicle driven by the 80-year-old, Anastasios Michaelas, moved against the traffic flow on the highway, resulting in a head-on collision with a taxi driven by a 32-year-old European citizen, permanent resident of Nicosia.

Anastasios Michaelas was fatally injured and taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The taxi driver was seriously injured, but his condition is not worrying.
