Fatal Workplace Accident in Lakatamia

A fatal workplace accident occurred yesterday in the Lakatamia area. According to Marina Kougiali, Senior Officer of the Department of Labour Inspection, the victim was a foreign national, a father of five children, who resided in Cyprus with his family.

Initial reports indicate that the man fell from a height of approximately six meters at the construction site where he was working. Inspectors from the Department of Labour Inspection are at the scene to gather evidence and investigate the circumstances of the accident.
